ASWS co-directed and edited a series of interviews for C2C Homes, a startup design-build company with plans to provide pre-fab homes to Hawaii. Different locations for the interview were scouted but ultimately the production team decided with conducting them at the C2C workshop, near the old Plantation stacks in Waipahu. In the video above, we couldn’t resist shooting B-roll of general shop activity, capturing some steel welding work (which resembles a alpha-male version of glass blowing) for one of their Pre-Fab projects. Check out their custom built two-story office at the end of the clip.

The interviews were designed to be used as part of their marketing collateral for the C2C website and upcoming trade shows. Design-Build Pre-Fab is a fairly new concept to the Islands, with the CEO explaining the process allowed for better comprehension, and presumably,  lower client anxiety.

In post-production we did a simple animated introduction using the C2C logo in After Effects. The idea of a spinning steel bolt became obvious when the logo was turned on its side. Sometimes you get lucky. Thanks to Mike (Mike May Media Services) Sheryl (HOMDesign) and Clif for letting us ride shotgun on this one.

Taking the camera out for another test run, ASWS pulls together a slow life intro for the Rediscover Makiki / Sunset in the Park event. There’s an unofficial edit around here somewhere.

Airspace Workshop creates promotional spots for the 2008 Globe Pro Fiji. Deliverables included :30 and :15 second versions, as well as bumpers and transitional elements to be used during the live webcast.

Airspace Workshop creates three, 15 second spots to promote Globe International’s new board shorts. Creative direction was taken from the board short artwork, with music provided by the client.

Airspace Workshop assumes Art Direction duties for A’ala Park Boardshop’s skateboard video, “the struggle”. Title and individual section motion graphics, as well as accompanying DVD packaging design were delivered to APB.

Airspace Workshop edits the 2006 Cinema Paradise, Island Independent Film Festival trailer.

Airspace Workshop got together with the Wave Waikiki (sniff) for this 2005 New Year’s Eve party promo.

Although it was never used, this clip is a 2 minute montage of footage intended for Sonar 4 tutorials, Cakewalk’s leading desktop audio product. The sound design was varied and split into discrete tracks, so they could be used to highlight the product’s new 5.1 mixing technology.
