In 2010, we partnered with local motorcycle outfit Kingdom Customs to help launch their first custom build-to-order motorcycle – The Stiletto. Our challenge was to design a website that presented the bike in a no-nonsense manner with clarity and organization for local and overseas customers to understand every detail of the product. A secondary goal was to create a clean and confident web presence that elevates the company above the cliche of tattoos and pinstripes often associated with motorcycle culture. The inclusion of a blog was integral for fans and customers, allowing visitors the ability to see into ‘the process’ of making and marketing a build-to-order motorcycle in Hawaii. After completion, the client is able to manage every part of the website, allowing for quick and flexible performance as they evolve their product and company. Talented guys and amazing technology.

Fitted Hawaii’s new online store launched today, offering a selection of custom t-shirts and fitted New Era hats designed right here in Hawaii. Airspace Workshop provided design and development services including a customized Shopify theme, as well as Twitter and Facebook integration. In addition to a new front-end look, a robust tracking system was also implemented to help Fitted Hawaii measure their online campaign performance and gain detailed insight into their revenue sources.

Airspace Workshop designs and develops a new website for Form Partners LLC, which specializes in the development, investment and operation of commercial real estate. Site performance was evaluated across both desktop and mobile platforms, and included the development of an optimized version specifically for hand-held devices. To ensure maximum utility, independent print styles were created to ensure a pleasant transition from the screen to the printed page.

Airspace Workshop assists Makalei with their debut album Pehea Ka Lawai‘a, providing art direction, photography, graphic design, and marketing strategy. Items delivered include album artwork, promotional collateral, and media kit photography. To further Makalei’s promotional reach, and enable the group to efficiently manage communications with their fans, we implemented an online strategy that includes various social networks and tools, such as Tumblr, Bandcamp, Facebook and Twitter.

Took a bit of time this past weekend to polish up my CSS/XHTML skills by creating a customizable Tumblr theme, M82. The theme was accepted earlier this morning into the Tumblr Theme Garden, and I’ve been impressed with the current response, considering it’s only been a little over 12 hours and already over 100 users have already installed it.

Airspace Workshop designs and develops a new look for A&B Properties, Inc., a real-estate subsidiary of Alexander & Baldwin, Inc. The site’s layout was revamped to improve navigational efficiency and information aesthetics. PHP development was coupled with Flash to dynamically display each property, and an existing Thomson data feed was integrated via XML to provide timely press release posting.

The Alexander & Baldwin corporate website required a delicate balance between information and aesthetics. A goal of the website refresh was to encapsulate the history and strength of the company in Hawai’i as well as provide up-to-date financial data to stockholders. ASWS’ mission was to achieve a clean and attractive layout that allowed users quick and efficient access to content while enhancing the experience by including professional photography, slideshows and current web technologies.
