If you grew up in Honolulu during the 80′s, chances are you were looking to feed your MTV induced appetite for new music. Of the local music retailers that supported the adolescent habits of music, comics and games; Hungry Ear was once such place. With an always knowledgeable staff, the store had a good sampling of genres (leaning towards metal if my memory serves correct). Check out a great gallery of images of the Hungry Ear crew back in the day via one of their own. Look for Ice-T in full rhyme pays mode.
